What it does — Housr Bills takes the hassle out of managing household utilities. Students can get a single quote covering gas, electricity, water, broadband, and TV licence, then sign up to have everything bundled into one simple payment split between housemates.

How it works

Getting a Quote

1. Open the Bills section in the app
2. Enter your property address and the number of housemates
3. Choose which utilities you want included (gas, electricity, water, broadband, TV licence)
4. Receive a quote showing the cost per person per month
5. Review the breakdown and decide whether to proceed

Signing Up

1. Accept the quote and confirm your details
2. Invite your housemates to join the bills group
3. Each housemate confirms their share
4. Housr sets up the utility accounts on your behalf
5. One monthly payment covers everything — no chasing housemates for their share

Managing Your Bills

1. View your current bills and payment history in the app
2. Submit meter readings when prompted to keep bills accurate
3. See a breakdown of usage and costs
4. Get reminders for upcoming payments and meter reading submissions
