Brand Ambassadors
What it does — The Housr Brand Ambassador programme recruits students to represent Housr at their university. Ambassadors promote the platform to fellow students, help drive awareness, and earn rewards for their efforts. It is Housr’s grassroots marketing channel on campuses.
Who uses it — Students (as ambassadors) and the Housr marketing team
How it works
- Housr opens ambassador applications through the website, typically at the start of the academic year
- Interested students apply online, providing details about their university and why they want to be an ambassador
- The Housr team reviews applications and selects ambassadors for each target university
- Selected ambassadors receive a welcome pack and guidance on how to promote Housr — sharing on social media, distributing materials on campus, and encouraging friends to download the app
- Ambassadors complete tasks and challenges set by the Housr team throughout the year
- Rewards are earned based on activity and impact, such as gift cards, exclusive merchandise, or cash incentives
Where it lives — Website (applications and information) and managed internally by the Housr team
The ambassador programme is promoted on the Housr website. Day-to-day management and communication with ambassadors is handled by the marketing team.
Regional availability — UK and US
The programme runs in both markets, with separate cohorts for UK and US universities.
