What it does — Students create a Housr account to access the full platform. Their profile is used across features like roommate matching, rideshare, and events, giving other students a sense of who they are.

How it works

Creating an Account

Download the Housr app or visit housr.com
Sign up using one of the available methods:
- Email and password — Available in both UK and US
- Sign in with Apple — Quick sign-up using your Apple ID
- Sign in with Google — Quick sign-up using your Google account
Complete your profile with basic information — name, university, and profile photo
Start exploring Housr

Managing Your Profile

Go to the Profile tab in the app
Update your personal details, profile photo, and bio
Manage your preferences and settings
View your activity across Housr — saved properties, upcoming viewings, event tickets, and more

Settings

Notification preferences — Choose which alerts you receive
Account security — Update your password or linked sign-in methods
Region — Your app experience is tailored to your market (UK or US)

Where it lives — Website (account creation and basic profile) and Mobile App (full profile management)

Regional availability — UK and US

Sign-in options may vary slightly between regions. Both markets support email, Apple, and Google sign-in.
